Excerpt from the Minutes
The Board will be contacting
all Florida clubs over the next few weeks to determine their
interest in bidding for the 2013 State Shoot and the 2013 Big
Blast date.
The selection of the site of the 2013 shoots will be made by the
Board based on timely bids from eligible clubs, and announced at
the 2012 Annual State Tournament Meeting at Quail Creek
Plantation.
Wayne South announced the top high volume Florida shooters
for 2010.

Wayne South reported that this year's attendance at the state
shoot was slightly up from 2010; there were 292 registered
shooters, 244 total main event shooters and 185 Florida resident
shooters in the main event this year.

Wayne reported on the FSCA membership growth this year from 1,188
in 2009 to 1,281 this year and the increase in targets thrown from
1,156,050 to 1,370,575. Clearly, even in these difficult economic
times, people continue to enjoy sporting clays in Florida.
